• Our designs, artwork, and content are our intellectual property: no scanning, reproducing, or reselling under any circumstances. Trading physical zines between friends/collectors is totally fine, we love that culture.
• Prices, product availability, and these terms can change at any time; we'll always honour the price and terms shown at the time you actually placed your order.
• We limit our liability to the maximum extent the law allows, basically, we're not liable for anything beyond what you paid us, except where the law says we must be.
• These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
• No age restriction to shop with us.

Full Policy

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use our site or purchase from us.

2. About us

Always Friends is a sole trader business operated out of Sydney, Australia, selling zines, stickers, stationery, and Risograph prints via our online store (alwaysfriends.shop) and at in-person markets and events.

3. Eligibility

There's no minimum age requirement to purchase from us. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use the payment method provided.

4. Intellectual property

All designs, artwork, illustrations, photography, branding, and written content on our website and in our products are the intellectual property of Always Friends © (or used with permission), and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

You may not:

• Scan, photograph, reproduce, or otherwise copy our designs, artwork, or content for any purpose
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute our products or reproductions of them
• Use our designs, artwork, or branding to create derivative products for sale

You may:

• Trade, gift, or pass along physical copies of our zines to others personally, non-commercially, we love the zine-trading community and want to support it
• Share photos of our products on social media for personal, non-commercial purposes (we'd love it if you tagged us!)

Any unauthorised reproduction or commercial use of our work may result in legal action.

5. Product descriptions and accuracy

We do our best to ensure our product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However:

• Riso-printed items are handmade, and small variations in colour, registration, and ink coverage are normal and part of the medium's character, not a defect
• Colours may appear differently on your screen depending on your device, and will always look different in person.
• We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information at any time without prior notice

6. Pricing and payment

• All prices are set in AUD, if you’re outside of Australia, your prices will be reflected in your home currency and may be slightly different based on exchange rates and may include taxes where applicable, unless stated otherwise
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time; however, the price shown at the time you complete your order is the price you'll be charged
• In the rare event of a pricing error on our site, we reserve the right to cancel any order placed at the incorrect price, and will notify you and offer a full refund if this occurs
• Payment is processed securely through Shopify, Stripe and Recharge for Subscriptions. We do not store or access your full payment details

7. Order acceptance and cancellation

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, error in pricing or product information, or issues with stock availability. If we cancel an order, you'll be notified and refunded in full.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Always Friends will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or opportunity
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product
• We are not liable for delays, damages, or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal/carrier delays, customs processing, or events beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, extreme weather)

Nothing in this clause excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (or equivalent consumer protection laws in your country of residence, where applicable). Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to, at our option, the resupply of the goods or services, or the cost of resupplying them.

9. Use of our website

When using our site, you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, or data
• Interfere with the site's functionality or security
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Engage in fraudulent purchasing tactics, such as chargebacks

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website or services for anyone who breaches these terms.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g. social media, payment providers). We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites, and linking to them doesn't imply endorsement.

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time, for any reason, including to reflect changes in our business, legal requirements, or best practices. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our site/services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, regardless of where you, the customer, are located.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
